Tonight, we are going to Tioman, which is a island off of Mersing, Malaysia. We will be leaving at around 6 o'clock with a group called scuba people on a dive trip. The trip will leave Singapore by bus and will take 6 hours to get to the ferry terminal and then, we have to take a 3 hour ferry to Tioman and we will arrive at 3 am. Then we will wake up at 9 am to go for the first dive, come back for lunch and then do two more dives, have dinner, do a night dive and then go to bed and repeat for the next day.
And then we come home and that's basically it.

Canadian Screen Awards Gala
Yesterday evening,
My mom, Joseph and I went to The Ritz Carlton for the Canadian Screen Awards. Joseph was invited by his friend Rob Chandler, who was nominated for Best Editor in 2015 and 2016 and will work with Joseph on his movies, and edited Mayday: Air Crash Investigation. At around 6:00, Joseph and Rob with up to attend the gala, as my mom and I were not invited, we stayed at the bar and waited. About half and hour later, we decided to check out the gala, just to look around and when we were up there, we meet some people from a show I was an extra on called Odd Squad. We chatted with them a little bit then, I noticed that the volunteers who were guarding the entrance to the gala where gone.
So, I gave my coat to the coat check and my mum and I just walked right in. We grabbed a drink and looked around for Joseph and Rob, but we got a text from Joseph saying that he is downstairs and is looking for us, so my mum texted back and said that we're already in. We walked around some more while waiting for Joseph to find us and then I for a cardboard cutout of Howie Mandel as he will be hosting the Canadian Screen Awards on Sunday which I will be attending. We finally met Joseph and Rob after talk to the director of Odd Squad. We then met Paul Sun-Hyung Lee from Kim's Convenience and Helene Joy from Murdoch Mysteries. After the gala, we walked around Queen Street and I did some hardcore parkour. We said goodbye to Rob and then we ended up at the Scotia Bank Theatre so we decided to watch the movie Logan with Hugh Jackman which I found was the worst Marvel movie ever.
We left Logan (so boring) and then we said goodbye to Joseph and we went back to the condo. And The End.

The Great Wall of China
The Great Wall was built in 220-206 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang to protect the northern border of China to protect the Chinese States and empire from invasions and raids of nomadic groups of the Eurasian Steep. Since then, little of the wall remains and has on and off been rebuilt, enhanced and maintained, most of the existing wall was built during the Ming Dynasty between 1368 and 1644.
The wall was used for border controls, trade, immigration and emigration and defence. Watch towers, troop barracks and garrison station and signalling capabilities by using smoke or fire. Also, the Great Wall was used as a transportation corridor.
Now, the Great Wall of China is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has over 10 million people visitors each year and can be seen from space. Also, there is a luge ride, where riders can rocket down the Great Wall at incredible speeds into the valley below.

The Quebec Trip
Two weeks ago, my family, friends and I went to Quebec for a ski trip and New Years.
We went to Montreal, Beaupré and Baie St. Paul. Our cousin lives in Montreal and he has a HTC Vive virtual goggles and he let us use it. There was VR Painting, Archery, Space Viewer and al lot of games. Then we went Benny&co. which is a Québécois chicken place and met our friends. We then drove to Beaupré to ski at Mont St. Anne.
At that point it was already to late so we ate at a restaurant called St. Hubert which was like a Swiss Chalet, a very disappointing Swiss Chalet. The food took forever to come and when it did, it was all cold. We went to a Motel called Hotel Condo Dés Berges, which means shoreline, and listened to Lee Child's Jack Reacher Nothing To Lose. And that was so boring.
The next day, we went straight to the mountain for skiing and snowboarding, after our brunch at A&Ws. We met each other at the top of Mont St. Anne. Because DeMille was slower and less confident on the big mountain, I went with my friends. After our fourth run, we met back up with Papa and DeMille and as we were descending together, I saw a sugar shack (Cabane a sucre) on the side of the mountain, so I stopped and took out my wallet and bought DeMille and me a hot maple taffy stick which we rolled over icy snow. Then my friend and I went to the chalet to get some hot chocolate.
My dad, DeMille and I stayed at the slopes later because our friends were tired, so they reserved a table at a fancy pub. DeMille got tired so he stayed on the bunny slopes while Papa and I did two more runs. We finally got to the pub after 8 hours of skiing. Papa had a Google Cardboard VR holder for his Samsung s7 edge, so we tried that during dinner. We went back to our room and listened to more Jack Reacher as we fell asleep.
The next day, we were straight on the road. Onto the next mountain, Le Massif! When we got to Le Massif, we missed the sign for the summit parking so we drove all the way down to the base. We left Butler in the car wrapped up in Papa's sweater and a blanket that we borrowed from the motel, because the our next hotel was not ready yet.
We then took the gondola to the summit where we waited for our friends to show up so that we can start our tobogganing day trip. When they arrived, we got our toboggans and jumped into a snowcat that brought us to the top of the mountain. And from there, we started our way down. My friend's dad and I were at the very front, rocketing our way down the mountain and did sharp turns and got some air on little jumps.
We arrived at the half way mark which had a cabin with hot chocolate and a wood burning stove where we can warm our hands and dry our balaclavas. And then we were off again. Across bridges and into puffy snow. When we got to the bottom, it was getting late so we said goodbye to our friends for the day and we went to the hotel.
The hotel was great. It was near a quaint little village and the room was a good size.
In the the town, there was a restaurant that had racclette and cheese fondue and a lot of cheese and bread. I then had a sundae for dessert. We went back to the hotel and listened to JACK REACHER!!!! And then we fell asleep.
We left early in the morning for the slopes as it had snowed 57 cm the last night and we wanted the fresh powdered snow. And it was amazing, snowboarding in the fresh snow was like surfing a perfect wave but some times, the snow would catch into the front of the board and flip me over. I also learn how to do a one-eighty and when I do a jump, I can grab the bottom of my board. After the 2rd run, DeMille's legs were sore from yesterday so he decided to just do the bunny hill while my dad, friends and I went to do some more runs on green circle and blue squares. The green circles are nice because the are long and a little less difficult and have a bunch of jumps and it took half an hour to make it to the bottom.
After 7 hour of snowboarding, we went back to the hotel and DeMille and I stayed home while Mama and Papa went to a fondue place for dinner.
The next day we had waffles and hot chocolate for brunch then drove back to Montreal for New Years Eve. We arrived at the Novotel and we got a massive room with two queen sized bed with a pull-out couch and a coffee table. So we filled the sink full of ice to chill our drinks and turn on the tv to watch the New Years show and waited for our friends to arrive.
We they got to the Novotel, we had dinner with them, then they came to our room and got some chips and salsa and drinks and chips. Our friend knows how to program so he make a count down timer for the New Year. We ended up staying up to 3 in the morning but our friends went to be right after New Years. We woke up a 9:30 in the morning and went down to breakfast. I had cereal and fruit and crepes.
We then said goodbye to our friends and we drove back to Toronto while listening to Hercule Poriot Murder on the Orient Express.
