Jamie Oliver and Circus School

 Hello Blog,

Yesterday my mom told me that I needed to make lunch. So in a jiffy, I grabbed my brand new Jamie Oliver Comfort Food and flipped through the pages looking for a delicious meal that I can cook. I stopped a very appealing page and it read: Big British Meatballs. I looked the the ingredients and quickly grabbing them. THIS IS GOING TO BE DELICIOUS!!!! 2 Hours Later...       Its nearly done I am just put the gravy on the meatballs and throwing the pan back into the oven for another 5 minutes and once the meatballs were on the table and being served, all I herd for the next 45 minutes were: "Mmms" and "Yums" and "this is so good" or "Freeland how did you make the gravy so good!". It was such a great feeling to make such a delicious meal.             




Now skip ahead 4 and a half hours and I found myself at the entrance to the    

Toronto School of Circus Arts and right outside there was a  concert.  Which I really wanted to go to. Shucks Darn!!!!  But any way, here I am, a few minutes from 6 O'clock where I'm going to begin my circus training. Which to begin with, was to start on the trampoline. On the trampoline I did the Tuck, Straddle and Pike jumps. The Tuck Jump is where when in the air, you tuck your arms around your knees and open up when land.  The Straddle Jump is like a star jump but you to try touch your feet. The Pike Jump is hard to explain but you have to jump up and be horizontal in the air with you hand touching your feet. Next I moved onto the mat and started doing acrobatics. It was so fun!!! My favourite part was the front tucks (flip). I cant wait for next week!!!

SketchUp

Today I will be downloading a program called SketchUp. It is a software were you build and design anything you want. I will be using it to design our house that we are renovating. It looks really fun and I will enjoy using it. It is a free program and I will add the link to the website here.

Yesterday, we went geochaching in Oakville. We had to find a large cache in the forest. It was sort of hard to find but really fun. We found a brand-new-in-the-package HOT WHEELS :) and had a nice lunch at a restaurant called Bru (u with an umlaut). It was a Belgium restaurant and had a delicious brisket sandwich and Belgium sausages.

Willow Works

Yesterday our architects, Daniel and Ryan, came to measure and scaled our house for the renovation we will be doing. They let my brother and I help and we got our own laser measuring tools and we got floor plan of our house.         The dog helped too.

Earth Day

Today, is Earth Day and for Earth Day we went to a run-down garden to pick up some garbage.
We fill three grocery bags full of garbage. Also we try not to use energy. So no light, no recharging of the batteries, no using stove tops

Ignite Party

Yesterday the was a party at the Legislative Building for the Pan Am Games Toronto 2015 Ignite.
My group, the Mural Routes, asked me and some other artists to paint stencil of our friends for some MPPs and other political people. It was really fun and I hope to do more stenciling.

Mexico

Hola, last week I was in Mexico with my aunt and uncle and their cat and dog.
We had tons of fun eating tacos, going boogie boarding and meeting new friends.

Today my brother and I ordered some new Razor Pro El Dorados. They have a CroMoly handlebars, solid alloy 84A urethane wheels, and soft rubber grips.

Mount Saint Louis Moonstone

Yesterday,

My family and I went to the Mount Saint Louis Moonstone ski resort. Which has 36 runs, 170 skiable acres, 2 terrain parks, and a longest run of 2 km. We had an awesome day. And I did some grinds, jumps and wipe outs on my snowboard.

On Friday night, it was the first night at (winter)scout camp. On that very night, James our scout leader said that we have to sleep OUTside. Guess the temperature it was outside. -25 DEGREES. If you were to cold you could go sleep in the Cubs Lodge with heat!!!

Tomorrow is Friday. Friday means orthodontist. Orthodontist means Expanders. Expanders means I won't be able to sleep. Not being able to sleep means I have to do home work at night. Doing homework at night sucks. Not being able to sleep sucks. Expanders suck. Orthodontist will suck. Friday will suck. All because of the homework.

P.S. Expanders will help my teeth. so that won't suck. Which means the Orthodontist won't suck

Like a Canadian

Yesterday evening, we were at our Nonno's. And we went to the local skating rink and we practiced playing hockey. It was so fun. On saturday we will also flood the ice rink.

Last Saturday, 

 

my dad was like, "Hey kids, lets  go to the countryside."

So we drove to the countryside and my dad said, "Let's have a hike and we'll bring Butler."

We had a wonderful walk in the forest an then we saw a deer!!!

         And then Butler was like, "Deeeer!!!!"

and chased after it.

                                           

 To make a looooong short, Buttler  was lost 4 hours.
