Dubai Day 1

On March 24,

I arrived in Dubai with my family. It was very early in the morning and we were just on a flight for 10 hours and I didn't sleep at all as I was watching movies the whole flight. Anyway we arrived at the Novotel which was near the Mall of the Emirates. The Mall has a massive indoor ski hill, The Cheesecake Factory, The Virgin Megastore and hundreds of stores.

When we got into the room, the first thing we did was get into bed.

And we slept all day.

Siem Reap

Last week I was in Siem Reap, Cambodia to have a little holiday with some friends from Canada.
Not in order:

We visited Angor Wat at sunrise and other temples including the one that was used to film the 2000 Lara Croft : Tomb Raider. They were all super cool. Its amazing to see stuff built hundreds of years ago.

We swam at the hotel pool and got fruit smoothies at Pub Street. We had foot massages and got street food. We did a lot of relaxing.

We also did a cooking class where I made deep fried spring rolls and chicken with hot basil.

On Thursday the 10th I did my first solo flight back to Singapore. My seat was in the 3rd row and the flight attendants were nice to me. The flight was an hour and forty minutes and I passed over Palau Tioman.

My dad, Abi and Jessi met me at the airport. I gave my dad a surprise by sneaking up behind him. We all had burger king. We later said our goodbyes as it was late and Abi and Jessi had more friends to pick up from the airport.

That was my trip to Cambodia.
